Our client is a leading supplier of fencing in Cairns, from the Tableland region to the Cape and beyond. They are seeking a HIAB Truck Driver to join their dedicated team on a Full-Time basis.
Your new role
Your new role as HIAB Truck Driver will be diverse and rewarding. This role involves accurately picking and packing orders for customer deliveries, locating finished goods, picking and packing accessories, and loading them onto the truck. You will be required to deliver to customers and sites as required in a timely and respectful manner. You will ensure the truck is always clean and maintained, follow critical safety rules, and consistently work towards efficiencies and improvements across the business. This vacancy is a Permanent Full-Time, Monday to Friday role.
What you'll need to succeed
The following skills, tickets and qualifications will also lead to your success in this role:
* MR/HR Driver's Licence
* Essential Licenses - Forklift (LF), Vehicle Loading Crane (VLC)
* Desirable - Dogman (DG)
* Experience in vehicle loading and strapping
* Reasonable strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement role
* A passion to deliver outstanding customer service and accuracy
* Reliable and committed to showing up everyday for your team
* An eye for detail whilst working in a fast paced environment
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
* Strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
