About the Role
We’re looking for skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineers to join our team at Epic! In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of programs, systems, and processes to improve the operational efficiency of our pipeline assets. What We’re Looking For
You will need to be a proactive and detail-oriented engineer who is self-motivated and driven to solve complex technical problems. You will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
Knowledge & Skills
* Experience working with high-pressure pipeline systems, power generation systems, refinery/process plants, or similar technical operations.
* Knowledge of and experience in mechanical engineering and maintenance practices, importantly the management of condition-based monitoring programs.
* Knowledge of gas transmission systems, gas system hydraulics, thermodynamics, and compressor station operations.
* Knowledge of the energy and pipeline industry, including relevant regulations, codes, licenses, acts, and Australian/International standards.
* Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in developing and monitoring operational and capital expenditure budgets.
* Strong understanding of effective working arrangements with service providers and contractors.
