Family Day Care Educators are engaged under agreement with Mildura Rural City Council to perform the inherent duties of a family day care educator and within the parameters of Zoe Support Australia expectations and Code of Conduct.
ORGANISATION INFORMATION
Zoe Support Australia (‘Zoe Support’) is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation operating within the Mildura local government area.
Our purpose is to provide a supportive, place-based community for young mothers on their parenting and education journey.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Family Day Care Educators will establish and maintain Family Day Care residences for provision of Family Day Care and support services for young mothers and pregnant teens.
2. Each Educator is solely responsible for the children in their service as recorded on the timesheets.
3. The FDC service at each of the Zoe Centres is to be considered a separate service and personal business of the FDC Educator and will be run as such in partnership with Zoe Support and in accordance with Zoe Support mission and values.
4. It is expected that each FDC Educator will adhere to the rules stipulated by Mildura Rural City Council FDC as set down according to the MRCC FDC Educator Agreement, Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations and other applicable laws such as Tax System / Family Assistance Law and Childcare Subsidy Instruments and the Worker Screening Act 2020.
5. Demonstrate highly developed organisational skills and efficient time management to ensure timesheets and client invoices/receipts are up to date.
6. Participate in client, staff and organisational meetings as required.

The successful applicant will be required to complete Mandatory Reporting training every 12 months, hold a current working with children employee check and renew their criminal history check every three years.
