About the Company Our client is a prominent land developer experiencing significant growth by way of land acquisitions in highly desirable suburbs across Sydney’s North West and South West Sydney corridors. Specialising in low and medium density property development, you will have the opportunity to work with the best in Industry Position Summary Reporting to the Head of Development, you will play a pivotal role to lead, mentor and guide the project team, while ensuring management is informed of key project risks. You will manage 2-4 projects directly but be responsible for reporting on the entire portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities Manage 2-4 projects directly, from acquisition (Pre-DA to Registration) Project Reporting and workflow Partner with the acquisition team during the acquisition process to provide feedback on project constraints, costs, and program requirements Cost and Cashflow Management: track project costs against the development acquisition feasibility and update project feasibility Revenue Opportunities: Increase profitability of projects through scope, cost and time management plus innovative design management and other solutions Prepare scope of works and service level agreements. Collaborate with with lead consultants and ensure alignment on project progress and requirements. Identify and manage potential risks associated with development projects, and develop contingency plans as needed Update project data and status within Smartsheet Identify and obtain necessary neighbour consents and assist the team where required Ensure strict adherence to site safety, security, and appropriate Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices throughout project delivery Integrate with the sales and marketing team to value add where appropriate, whilst updating them regarding project status and changes Key Requirements 5 years’ experience managing residential land subdivisions Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams In-depth knowledge of the planning and development approvals process Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management Tertiary qualifications in Property Development desirable How to apply: Please apply by submitting your resume (in Word format) via the “Apply Now” tab to be considered for the role.
