About the role UNE is recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator to be responsible for managing multi-channel marketing and engagement activities towards achieving the student-based growth targets for UNE and an assigned portfolio of products.
This position reports to the Marketing Manager and operates under their general direction.
Key stakeholders include Faculty engagement coordinators, Unit Coordinators, Program and Project Coordinators, and UNE Communications, Advancement and Engagement Team.
Key relationships will be forged with the UNE schools and the broader UNE community of stakeholders which exist across all functions and organisational units.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant Experience - Demonstrated experience across a range of marketing areas, such as direct marketing, SEO, SEM, copywriting, website page editing, or social media management.
A qualification in marketing, communications, or a related field is desirable.
Strong Interpersonal Skills - The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Organisation and Time Management - Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability and Initiative - A proactive mindset and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools, projects, and priorities, as well as a willingness to learn and grow your skillset.
Data-Driven, Evidence-Based Mindset - An understanding of performance metrics and the ability to use insights to optimise marketing activities across channels.
Team Player Attitude - A respectful and professional approach to collaboration, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflows to support team productivity and meet deadlines.
Future Students and Engagement The Future Students and Engagement Department at UNE oversees all external-facing functions at UNE with a comprehensive, integrated strategy.
This includes marketing, advancement, alumni office, social media, and corporate communications and events.
The department focuses on engaging with industry partners, alumni, philanthropic supporters, governments and communities, while also attracting and connecting with prospective students.
The team effectively showcases UNE's offerings, builds relationships with key stakeholders, and fosters a strong, connected community.
