About the Role
Based at our state-of-the-art Head office at Sydney Olympic Park, The National Operations Manager plays a pivotal part of the National Leadership Team to develop, deliver and evolve OneSchool’s strategy, leading the development and implementation of the strategic and operational priorities for OSG, in accordance with our vision, values and mission.
Working in conjunction with the National leadership team and Operational Leads, the National Director of Operations oversees the non-educational operations of the region including the establishment of standardised processes and platforms across facilities, workplace health and safety (WHS), uniforms, policies, events, and transport.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and lead the development and implementation of processes and policies to ensure consistency, alignment, and operational efficiency across OSGAU.
* Undertake a project management approach to deliver results across the National operations portfolio. For example:
o Develop uniform and effective volunteer bus driver induction system and implement -across all campuses in region.
o Go out to tender and engage WHS auditing company to manage and standardise at a national level
o Develop and rollout “Campus Healthy Food Guidelines” and support the implementation of this project and audit as required
* Facilitate periodic national operations meetings and attend Global Operations meetings, ensuring effective governance as well as appropriate consultation and collaboration in relation to decisions and overall strategic direction.
* Provide regular reporting of key challenges and feedback to the National Executive Committee, National Management Team, and the Global Operations Manager to enable informed decision making.
* Lead and oversee the Facilities support team for the region.
* Support Events, where required, lead in the coordination of national events.
* Consult with campus teams to ensure uniforms remain fit-for-purpose and consistent with global standards.
* Lead the implementation and maintenance of Work Health & Safety (WHS) and Risk platforms and policies.
* Lead the national Communications function in relation to departmental direction and the communication needs of the school.
* Lead the implementation and improvement of student transport processes regionally in line with the Global direction, including policies and procedures, safety, fleet management, auditing, reporting, training, and rostering.
* Work in partnership with National MD and Operations Leads to ensure that regional campuses are safe and secure for staff and students to attend in alignment with global policy standards. This includes but is not limited to, suitable fencing, CCTV requirements, WHS and building lease agreements.
About You
* Proven experience as an Operations Leader in any environment. Education Sector would be beneficial.
* Strong Project and Change Management experience with capability to lead and deliver multiple projects at once.
* Adept with O365 tools and technically proficient.
* Strong communicator and presenter at all levels.
* Effective collaborator and team player
* Ability to build strong relationships and influence.
