This role is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to a fast-paced and growing organisation, with a focus on building relationships and driving results.The RoleAs Business Development Manager – Queensland, your responsibilities will include:Acting as the key connection between our business and veterinary clinics by building meaningful relationships with veterinarians and clinic staff.Supporting sales through customer engagement and business development.Using sales techniques to grow company presence and drive activity within the assigned area.Ensuring ongoing support for your customer base, including new member acquisition and retention.Tailoring plans to meet member needs, such as training, product offerings, and rebate maximisation.Establishing connections with new clinics to secure memberships and generate leads.Collaborating with peers to share best practices and insights, while working with marketing to deliver customer initiatives.Attending industry events and trade shows to strengthen client relationships and represent United Vets Group.Skills & QualificationsWe’re looking for someone with:At least two years of commercial experience in veterinary sales, pet food sales, human pharmaceuticals, or the pharmacy channel.A demonstrated ability to identify, convert, and capitalise on sales opportunities.Strong relationship-building skills with both suppliers and stakeholders.Experience in a multi-site operations environment (e.g., franchise business model).A proactive, results-oriented mindset with excellent organisational skills.High levels of commercial acumen and strategic thinking.ExperienceMore than two years commercial experience in veterinary sales, pet food sales, human pharmaceuticals or pharmacy channel salesDemonstrable record of success in delivering key commercial KPI'sStrong leadership and team working skillsStrong negotiation, planning and presentation skills.A current driving license.This is a field-based position; you will need to be able to travel throughout Queensland to visit clinics.Why United Vet Group?At United Vet Group as part of VetPartners, we're more than just a company – we're a family united by our passion for animal welfare and excellence in veterinary care.
