Join our team at Si Senorita and oversee the kitchen! We're looking for an individual who can effectively manage the kitchen team and decide what dishes to serve. Assist in prep-work, cook specialty dishes, and design a menu based on seasonal ingredients, popularity, and demand. You will work in a clean and organised kitchen, handling pressure and time constraints with ease. Key responsibilities include:• Planning and directing food preparation, cooking, and presentation in a fast-paced setting.• Setting up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.• Working with the Director to plan menus that are flavourful and popular with customers.• Supervising and coordinating activities of cooks and other food preparation workers.• Monitoring and ensuring food quality, quantity, taste, and presentation meet customer expectations.• Performing food preparation tasks and checking order quality and presentation.• Ensuring the kitchen is kept to a high standard, providing a clean and hygienic environment for meal preparation and delivery.Requirements include an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma, 3 years of work experience, and the ability to handle busy service, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain quality of food.
