Job Description As our WA Food Safety Expert, you will ultimately be responsible for the implementation & adherence of Civeo Australia's food safety standards across our sites based in WA and SA.
Reporting to our National HSQE Manager, Food Safety and Quality, this role involves further assisting Civeo to maintain compliance with respective Food Safety legislation, HACCP, codes of practice, standards, and the adoption of good hygienic practices to minimise food safety risks, ensure customers' expectations are met and establishing a strong food safety culture within the organisation.
Additional Responsibilities Includes:Carry out audits, investigations & inspectionsAdvise on Food Safety outcomes & areas of innovation and improvementDevelop & implement corrective & preventive actionsAssist in the development & maintenance of procedures & work instructions.Maintain Food Safety Management systemsSupport auditing programs incl.
with 3rd partiesReport on the performance of the Food Safety management systemPromote & mentor good hygienic practices with food handlers and managementMaintain compliance to current Food Safety legislationRegular site travel to ensure practices are maintained and adheredProvide technical advice & support to food safety and quality projectsAbout YouA key element to this position is partnering with our site-based staff & wider HSQE Team.
