Merton Living is a community-based aged care provider situated on the Golden Highway. The Upper Hunter Valley locale in Denman, NSW is an ideal setting, offering residential aged care facilities, home care services and independent living units. It’s also a tree changer destination of choice. This galaxy is set to expand with a greenfields build of a new facility and a growing cluster of home care offerings.
Can you be both down-to-earth and a star? You will readily roll up your sleeves to build relationships and provide the leadership that will energise Merton Living and the wider community.

As Merton Living’s new CEO, your strategic vision and community-focus is far-reaching. You don’t need to be an expert in astrophysics but your openness to innovation will be welcome. The Board Directors are searching the heavens for aged care or similar industry leadership experience. You will be embedded into the organisation with transparency, respect and a collaborative, interplanetary approach.
You also have:
* Strong people management skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, easily building trust and rapport with a wide range of people
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
* Strategic thinking and planning skills
* Tertiary qualifications in business, health or a related field
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the role involves:
* Guiding a new leadership team enhancing the employer value proposition and solving workforce challenges
* Leading and managing operations, strategic growth, and service development
* Collaborating with the Board and community to ensure continued organisational success
* Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory changes
