About the role:
As the Senior Business Support Officer, you will lead and supervise a team to coordinate and deliver professional services and support to internal and external clients within the Townsville Business Centre. Our Customer Service Centre is looking for someone who is professionally motivated and wishes to contribute to managing a progressive and results-focused organisational improvement program. The services we deliver make a positive difference for our clients and colleagues, you will be providing leadership, supervision, support and performing as an active member of the team.
To be successful you will have:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple complex projects and business processes.
• Ability to lead and supervise a geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary team.
Some requirements that we see as essential:
• The possession of a current C class driver's licence is desirable to assist with the management of fleet vehicles, including but not limited to the delivery of vehicles for servicing, and to undertake the regular banking.
• Travel away from the centre may be required. This may involve travel outside of normal office hours and/or overnight accommodation for extended periods.
