About the role
An exciting new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS as our Accounts Receivable Officer. This position is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis working Monday – Friday, 5 days per week. This role is offered on a salary of $35.17 - $38.37 / hour gross dependent on skills and experience plus salary packaging options.
As the Accounts Payable Officer, will work in accordance with fair credit practices and be responsible in the generation of and collection of payments from ARRCS clients and consumers. This important role will ensure that ARRCS finances are managed efficiently, and that invoices are billed correctly, timely and ensure payments are received by due dates. This role will also, when required, support the Accounts Payable Officer, and will be trained in this expert area also.
As the successful candidate, you will ideally show evidence of prior experience in finance operations with preference to Accounts Receivable. You will have previous knowledge of management of and distribution of invoices and have used financial software with preference to Epicor. You will be able to commit to full-time hours and be comfortable on providing advice and solutions to account queries.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
Previous experience working within an Accounts Receivable or Financial role with background knowledge of the management of creditors.
Knowledge and practical use of corporate accounts payable or finance software with preference to Epicor.
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills with preference to Excel.
Knowledge of Australian Accounting principals and the Accounts Receivable process.
Comfortable in contacting and follow up with creditors on outstanding money owed.
Ability to work well independently and take initiative in own work and development.
Ability to work well with team members from other departments.
Demonstrated effective and clear communication skills.
Good time management skills and conflict resolution techniques.
