**Aviation Services (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)**
The Operations Officer (East) is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of planning and administration functions for current and future Divisional operations with a specific focus on Helicopter operations primarily conducted in Queensland.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting Helicopter Flying and Maintenance Managers, as well as General Manager Aerospace in delivering planning and administrative functions in support of Divisional operations.
* Developing and refining business strategies and processes to ensure seamless delivery of Divisional tasks and future initiatives.
* Coordinating business development activities, including RFQ/RFT preparation, and liaising with Corporate Services for recruitment, finance, ICT, and marketing needs.
* Promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability while ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
**Requirements:**
* Tertiary-level education with a focus in Management or an undergraduate degree in Business or a relevant field.
* 5 years' experience working in a similar capacity.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 Australian Government Security Clearance.
