About the Role:
Davidson is partnered with a well-known organisation whose value system aligns with Davidson to its core. We are actively recruiting for a bookkeeper to join their team immediately on a short-term basis to help relieve the pressure in their Accounts and Finance Team. The ideal candidate brings a wealth of knowledge in this area but can bring a empathetic approach to dealing with their clients and community.
Experience Required:
1. XERO
2. Microsoft 365
3. Accounts Payable
4. Accounts Receivable
5. Invoicing
6. Handling fixed expenses and credit card reconciliation
7. Managing 500+ credit card purchases monthly
8. Ability to handle adhoc administrative duties
Responsibilities:
9. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
10. Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
11. Coordinate Parents Co-contribution payments and set up feasible payment plans
12. Reconcile credit card statements and manage expense accounts
13. Perform adhoc administrative duties as required
14. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
15. Collaborate with team members to streamline financial procedures
Qualifications:
16. Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper/Accounts Officer or similar role
17. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
18. Proficiency in XERO and Microsoft 365, especially Excel
19. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
20. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
21. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
