About the role Based at Adelaide Parklands Terminal, the Service Operator Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of guest cabins, lounge and restaurant carriages on-train, and public areas off-train. The role will provide support to the Housekeeping Supervisor through coaching and training initiatives. The key responsibilities include: Conduct daily briefings with the staff to keep them abreast of day-to-day requirements such as train turn-arounds, deep cleaning, and areas requiring special attention. Supervise the work environment as the team works in line with the desired instruction and systems that are in place. Prepare cleaning schedules for the return of all carriage cabins, lounge, and restaurant carriages from rolling stock operations, ensuring the team's operating rhythm is planned and organized. Monitor the quality of linen and record and report any identified issues for supplier resolution. Report maintenance faults, damage to furniture, and fittings in all areas to the appropriate person. Reporting and administrative tasks as required. Ensure all employees comply with grooming and uniform standards. Meet all systems, practices, and procedures required for food safety standards in compliance with HACCP requirements. Experience with computers and reporting is also required. About you You will have proven experience leading a small team in Housekeeping/Logistics or similar, with strong communication and organizational skills.
