About the Company: This large distribution business has several payroll projects planned in the next 6-9 months and consequently they are looking for additional immediate support in their Payroll Team on a fixed term contract basis. 6 months initially, with potential extension. Based in Keysborough, and working alongside a full-time permanent Payroll Officer, together you will be responsible for managing the national payroll for over 800 employees across multiple locations. The role: Reporting to the Company Secretary, you will be responsible for: Process end-to-end multiple payrolls. 2 x weekly and 1 x monthly payrolls using Nellar Preceda and time & attendance system Interpret and ensure compliance with EBA’s and Awards, and general Australian payroll legislation Manage payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers in a timely manner Process new employee forms, leave applications, termination payments, and payroll reconciliations Preparation of contracts for new and existing employees Assist with HR & Payroll administration, including contract processing and updating employee details Ad hoc reporting Culture & Benefits: Hybrid work arrangements – 2 days from home after training Work alongside a skilled and supportive peer.
