Job Description Aurora Dairies are currently seeking multiple Dairy Cattle Farm Workers - Farm Hands in the Mt Gambier region of South Australia. The farms are located in the towns of Tantanoola, Eight Mile Creek, Kongorong and Mount Schank.
The successful candidates will have a passion for the dairy industry and have experience in assisting the management team in managing a dairy operation.
The successful candidates will have demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas;
Complete droving – moving cows to shed prior to milking as neededComplete milkings in the dairy shed – complete prestart, milking and clean-upEffectively work as part of a team, ensuring pace is alignedIdentify and report equipment not operating as it should and complete general/minor maintenance as required and according to safe operating procedureComplete data entry/recording of incidents, miking, machinery and animal healthComply with all safe operating procedures and support the safety culture on farmTractor workAnimal feeding, calf feeding, paddock setup and other general farm tasks. Qualifications Desired skills and experience for this opportunity are:
