About the Role:
Support and empower young people (12-18) involved in the justice system. Provide trauma-informed, culturally safe case management, connecting youth with essential resources and community leaders for lasting impact - in this brand new program!
Key Responsibilities:
* Support & Empower: Deliver case management, group programs, and outreach services.
* Culturally Safe Approach: Ensure a supportive environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth.
* Community Engagement: Connect youth with local services and help them build essential life skills.
* Collaboration: Partner with NGOs, schools, and community groups to support each young person’s journey.
Requirements:
* Identity: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants only.
* Qualifications & Experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience with at-risk youth.
* Skills: Trauma-informed practice, advocacy, and youth engagement.
* Compliance: NSW Working with Children Check, National Criminal History Check, and driver’s license with ideally comprehensive insurance.
