Job Summary We are seeking an Application Specialist to join our Application Team located in Dandenong South, reporting to Application Teams Leader- Food Ingredients Oceania. Description/Responsibilities: Solution Design Independently navigates projects from start to finish, and acts as a project leader in teams Hands on creation and application of Dairy & Beverage products utilising IFF’s range of protein, emulsifiers, hydrocolloids, texturants, food protection and flavours Proven ability to work and manage time and priorities unsupervised High level knowledge of recipe ingredients, raw materials and their function Researches, refines, and upgrades solutions for client projects Commercial acumen and proven ability to balance technical needs with commercial needs Demonstrates capability in experimental design, detailed results analysis and sound technical judgement Formulation and Applications of functional ingredients in Dairy and Beverages Conduct pilot plant processing and evaluation of Dairy and plant-Beverages on ice cream churns and UHT/HTST lines Conduct physical properties analyses – Rheology, Microscopy and Particle Size Ability to prepare and deliver technical and scientific presentations professionally and effectively Willingness to travel, in the ANZ region and occasionally other overseas location Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to build meaningful rapport, to influence, convince and to negotiate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders and staff. A good command of English language for communication will be well regarded.
