Team Leader Translations Location – Parramatta Employment type: Temporary full-time up till 30 June 2025 Grade: Grade 7/8 Salary: $106,024 pa - $117,362 pa plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role The Team Leader Translations plays a critical role managing a team responsible for the successful of our translation services within the Language Services division of Multicultural NSW. This is a great opportunity to join the team at MNSW during a period of significant growth of our translation and interpreting services. What you’ll do Lead a team to deliver timely, efficient, effective and integrated translation and transcription projects, ensuring high level of customer service delivery and provision of a quality customer experience. The position provides quality information, assistance and customer service by monitoring customer inquiries, allocating work and monitoring team’s performance and handling complex and sensitive matters. Additionally, the role assists the Service Delivery Manager, Language Services Operations in the implementation of best practice frameworks, required process improvement initiatives, and effective and ongoing monitoring, measurement and reporting of business unit performance. What we’re looking for Established team and people management skills and an ability to collaborate with colleagues across different functions. A client-centric mindset with established skills to translate customer needs into appropriate operational actions. Demonstrable experience in effectively balancing the management of business-as-usual service delivery with the need to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, within language services an advantage.
