Lorna Jane is seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a State Manager for NSW. Reporting directly to the Head of Retail, this key role involves overseeing our NSW retail portfolio and driving sales and growth through strategic leadership. As State Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Regional and Area Leaders, empowering them to exceed targets and deliver exceptional results. What You’ll be doing As our State Manager you’ll: Manage 4 direct Regional and Area Leader reports Analyse business results to ensure consistent growth and identifying opportunities for improvement Implement store & state specific strategies encompassing customer, sales, marketing, and stock for improved revenue & profitability results Achieve store and region profitability targets by ensuring sales are met and operation expenses are controlled Cultivate a winning culture by upholding a high-performance model in all retail stores, ensuring low performers are uplifted or performance managed Act as a brand ambassador and connecting all team members to the Lorna Jane philosophy and key brand focuses through regular communication and training plans, to build a self-awareness and feedback culture Hold team members accountable to the expectations of their roles, identifying skills gaps and feedback, development and coaching to build capability across Regional & Store Leaders Implement performance and development plans as and when required Action reviews on to manage operating costs encompassing wage percentage and commercial rostering decisions Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone who has: Experience in state or regional retail management, with a track record of inspiring and empowering teams to achieve outstanding results Exceptional commercial awareness with a results-driven approach, excelling in identifying growth opportunities and driving sales performance A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting teams to consistently exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies, paired with excellent critical thinking abilities The ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, enabling seamless travel across your region to support and engage with your teams Our Commitment to you At Lorna Jane, we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and included.
