In this role, you'll:
* Undertake road maintenance and construction activities which may include, but not limited to, pavement repairs, road corridor maintenance, road pavement rehabilitation, and small and heavy patching works.
* Perform maintenance and construction and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools.
* Participate in daily toolbox meetings with a focus on WHS improvement.
* Be part of the team that delivers road efficient construction and maintenance of road infrastructure throughout New South Wales.
* Travel extensively throughout the region to attend worksites including attending call outs where required and provide incident response support.
We have several positions available based out of Mardi depot.

About you:
You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.
You must hold the following tickets/ licences:
* White Card
* Current unrestricted driver’s licence or Provisional 1
* Traffic Control Tickets (Implement Traffic Control Plan / Workers On Foot)
You will live within a 100km radius to Mardi depot and are prepared to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, and work away from home when needed.
A Truck Licence, class Medium Rigid (MR) or higher, chemical spray ticket, working safely under Power Lines will be beneficial but not essential for this role.
