In this role, you will provide exceptional program support to the Library Services and Lifelong Learning Team, assisting with the delivery of programs, activities, and outreach initiatives.What you’ll be working onPlanning, organising, and executing a range of library programs, events and lifelong learning outreach activities across multiple themes.Arranging and confirming meetings and events, including, but not limited to booking speakers, facilitators, venue bookings and catering, sending out invitations and monitoring and collating RSVP responses.Preparing materials required for program delivery, promotional materials for programs and collections and displays in branch.As senior on duty, you will be undertaking rostered and relief customer service duties, including evening and weekend work at any Hobsons Bay service centre, library, community hub, call centre or outreach location.What you need to succeedA certificate or diploma in libraries, education or community development or relevant experience in a related field.A strong community focus and high-level communication skills.Sound administration skills and high level of computer literacy.A current Victorian Driver’s License.Why you should applyJoin our bold and innovative team and help shape the future of community engagement through specialised programming.
