Job Description
* Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update financial records accurately, ensuring all entries are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.
* Process invoices, payments, and receipts, and manage accounts payable/receivable efficiently.
* Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
* Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant legislation.
* Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to budgets.
* Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as needed.
The Successful Applicant Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Working Rights within Australia.
* Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Navision, Net-suite, and SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in work.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
