The Tritton mine has a 20+ years history of underground operations. We are continually looking at ways to improve our underground operation and refine how we make our existing mine perform into the future. We have transitioned to a ‘hub-and-spoke’ model where ore can be transported from our multiple operations to our centralised mill. This is all part of the “Tritton Way Forward” our innovative approach to ensuring the continued and future success of our Tritton Operations.
The Mine Clerk position provides administrative support associated with mining activities and supports the underground mine production team to meet statutory and operational requirements. This key role works closely with the team ensuring constant communication, associated administration and compliance essential to the teams success. Duties include
* Maintain accurate records of mine activities, production, equipment usage, employee rosters and employee hours
* Lead to the mining departments document control by updating and formatting in line with the company’s document control management plan/s
* Handle communications within the department including phone calls, emails, and messages between different departments and external agencies
* Provide administrative support to leadership, management and supervisory positions such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence
* Track and manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials used in mine operations
* Maintain departmental notice boards
* Raise purchase orders and ensuring all data is recorded accurately
* Assist and support the department manager with any requirement within your capability or reasonable development within the role
* Detailed data management and filing; and
* Maintain confidentiality of information and records
We are looking for an experienced administrator with strong attention to detail and communication skills. You will enjoy team work, solving problems and working collaboratively to ensure high levels of administrative support.
