About the role: Our client is seeking an experienced Performance Analyst primarily responsible for monitoring and tracking the release of network initiated capital works, business case tracking, preparing and analyzing expenditure tracking reports, administering the governance of the CAPEX pipeline and improving the monthly forecasting process.
You will assist in the development of a range of portfolio reports, dashboards, maintain portfolio governance artefacts and provide support in the development of the long-term forecasts across network expenditure.
Key Responsibilities: The main responsibilities of the role are to: Monitor, analyse and report on the network CAPEX and OPEX portfolio performance.
Assist in the development of expenditure tracking reports for Network Analytics, Communications, Metering and Unitised Works, including cost and volume performance reporting.
Track, monitor and evaluate CIF improvement ideas generated from CP/PAL CIF forums.
Develop Tableau/BI reporting for monthly reporting and analytics Monitor the capex pipeline process and administer governance of the network-initiated business case process.
Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance to the business case process for investments below the Investment Committee threshold.
Co-ordinate inputs into the CAPEX and OPEX monthly forecast.
Support the development of the annual network CAPEX and OPEX forecasts.
Support the collation of the annual Regulatory Information Notice (RIN) and regulatory price submissions.
Required Skills/Experience: 7+ years relevant experience within the Utilities industry or Asset Intensive industries Tertiary Qualifications in a related discipline of Finance or Engineering Experience using Business Intelligence tools (e.g.
Power BI, Tableau, etc) Experience in presenting to senior management Demonstrated Experience with SAP or another ERP equivalent.
Strong analytical skills to assess and organize data, trends and a variety of network information.
Strong presentation skills in preparing analytical reports, dashboards and illustrating commercial outcomes.
Strategic thinker, able to process complex data into useful information and apply it to improvement opportunities Knowledge of program/project governance and business case evaluation methodologies Knowledge of financial modelling or risk-based modelling Does this sound like you?
