This is your chance to train to be a Health Advisor in our 111 call centre, handling calls from members of the public. You'll learn how to use a state-of-the-art triage tool called NHS Pathways to assess patients over the phone and direct them to the most appropriate care. The extensive training equips you with valuable skills and includes assessments. We are offering fully paid training courses on a full-time basis, Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) for 4 weeks. We also offer part-time courses running Tues, Weds, Thurs evenings (6pm-9:30pm) and Sat-Sun (9am-5pm) for 6 weeks. You must attend every training day. This is followed by a further eight weeks' support before you are signed off to work on your own.
Upcoming Available Start Dates Are: Monday 19th May 2025 - Full Time Once you've completed your training, you can join the team part-time (or full-time as explained above) on your pre-approved shift pattern. However, please note that this is a 24/7, 365-days-a-year service and is particularly busy at weekends, so you should expect to work at these times, plus some bank holidays, which may include Christmas.
