In collaboration with the iACT/Core Team Managers and the Community Mental Health Service Manager, the successful applicant will engage in reviewing referrals into the Early in Life Mental Health Service to ensure selection of group therapy programs is responsive to broader service needs. Our CAMHS & Schools Early Action (CASEA) team works with children, their families, carers and significant others, teachers, school welfare teams and broader systems to provide a range of general, specific and therapeutic interventions. CASEA is a part of the Early in Life Mental Health Service (ELMHS) - one of the most comprehensive mental health services to be found in the Victorian public sector. The position is based at Atherton Road, Oakleigh, but regular travel using organisational fleet across catchment area and to schools is required.About YouYou are dedicated and passionate about children, adolescent and youth mental health. We work with the 0-18 age in the Southern Region. We provide a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services. The Intake, Assessment, Consultation and Brief Treatment Team (iACT) provides up to six sessions of initial assessment and treatment for referrals received by our service.
