Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Technician.
The Production Technician will actively participate in the manufacture of collagen medical devices in accordance with company procedures as well as agreed plans and timeframes. This role is pivotal in supporting the demands of a growing company expanding its product portfolio around the world.
Other responsibilities may include:
1. Completion of manufacturing documentation and batch records.
2. Reagent preparation (including handling of chemicals).
3. Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and cleanrooms.
4. Participation in process improvement projects as required.
5. Stocktaking and materials management.
6. Participation in internal and external audits as required.
7. Participation in training exercises.
8. Providing assistance to other departments as required.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
The right candidate must have:
1. An understanding of Quality systems, including an understanding of principles of GMP and TGA guidelines.
2. Exceptional attention to detail.
3. Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
4. An ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
5. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft computer software.
6. At a minimum, Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or previous experience working within a laboratory setting.
7. Permanent residency within Australia and full work rights.
