McHugh Steel are a Queensland Steel Roll-Forming Company in South East Queensland, both manufacturing and supplying Steel Frames and Trusses and are currently looking for a highly motivated Yardman to join our team.
Candidates must have/be:
* Proven stores/warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
* LF Forklift Licence and extensive forklift experience including Reach mandatory (LO licence will be looked upon favourably)
* Manual handling up to 20kg will be required
* Good communication skills, initiative and attention to detail
* Understanding and adherence to Workplace Health and Safety requirements
* Be physically fit
* HC Truck driving experience is a strong advantage
* CV Hiab Crane licence is a strong advantage
* Experience using a Hiab crane
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Receiving, unloading, checking contents, and signing for incoming deliveries of products
* Picking and packing of orders
* Renumbering and relabeling of products
* Participating in stock take as required
* Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and well organized
