Location: Acacia Ridge, QLD Remuneration: Attractive Salary and Benefits About the role: We are seeking a qualified Electrical Tradesperson/ Locomotive Maintainer to join our Acacia Ridge maintenance depot. This is an exciting opportunity to work on locomotives and be part of an organisation that values people, safety and development. You will be responsible for: Perform complex troubleshooting, fault rectification duties, repairs, modifications and preventative maintenance procedures on rollingstock, components and associated equipment to meet the operational requirements of the specific location. Perform all duties of a Locomotive Maintainer I as required. Supervise, mentor and assist the development of apprentices and Locomotive Maintainer's. Carry out duties in a safe manner in accordance with policies, regulations and procedures and the Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) Act. Utilise and input accurate data into information and Maintenance Management Systems. Assist with the implementation and development of quality improvement in the area to enhance customer service. About you Certificate III in electrical trade or an equivalent qualification. High level of skill in trouble shooting, fault rectification, minor repairs and the carrying out of preventative maintenance procedures on rollingstock or similar equipment. Substantial skills in working in a collaborative work environment. Sound level of skills in oral, written and interpersonal communication. Understanding of Quality Management Principles.
