Our joint teams of over 500 staff provide a secure and supportive Christ-centred learning community, where a commitment to excellence, creativity and service is encouraged and modelled.About the role: Our Junior School Arts Teacher will be responsible for the delivery of Music, Dance and Drama in our Junior School, (Prep to Year 6). By applying a thorough understanding of the Australian Curriculum's achievement standards, plan, teach and effectively assess and report student achievements. The effective delivery of classroom Music, Dance and Drama will foster creativity, boost self-confidence, and enhance the communication skills of students, enriching their education experience and laying the foundation for lifelong appreciation of the arts.Growing engaging and creative programs, delivered in an environment of active and positive learning are key priorities of the role. In addition, working closely with the Head of Junior School and Head of Instrumental Music in organising and coordinating Music, Dance and Drama presentations for key Junior School events. In addition to the standards required of all Teachers at our College, and your ability to teach Performing Arts (Music, Dance and Drama) to Junior School students, you should demonstrate that you have an outstanding ability to create experiences which allow students to express their creativity and flourish in an active and positive environment. A demonstrated ability and enthusiasm to create and prepare, interesting and engaging Music, Dance and Drama performances for inclusion in key College events is extremely important.
