Having celebrated 50 years of transforming young lives lastyear, Carclew is South Australia’s largest multi-art form andcultural organisation dedicated to artistic outcomes by and forchildren and young people. Carclew supports children and youngpeople to try different art forms, and emerging artists to developtheir craft, and advocates for youth arts practice.
The Manager, Schools, is responsible for leading and supportingarts education programs including the new multi-year Carclew inSchools partnership with the Department for Education.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Arts Programs, this positionworks collaboratively with Senior Management, to explore andestablish partnerships, funding and other resources to supportprojects and strategic development. The Manager, Schools, providesresearch and evaluation to support the development ofevidence-based reports and documentation.
We are looking for an arts industry professional withdemonstrated experience and competence in arts and educationmanagement and program delivery. The individual is expected topossess good decision-making skills, be able to exercise soundjudgement, work well with delegation of authority, and provideexpert advice, consultation and assistance relevant to theirprogram/area of work.
Appropriate tertiary or other qualifications or equivalentexperience in arts management, arts practice or a relateddiscipline and/or relevant industry experience is required, alongwith knowledge of national and international trends in arts andeducation. Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres StraitIslander artists and communities is desirable.

This role is offered as a full time initial2-year contract remunerated at level ASO-5 (Salary range$83,273 to $92,614 per annum plus super).
