Position Overview: As a Senior Ecologist, you will lead ecological assessments, manage projects, and provide technical guidance on a variety of environmental initiatives. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and oversee ecological assessments, surveys, and impact assessments. Prepare technical reports, management plans, and permit applications in compliance with relevant regulations. Provide ecological expertise and recommendations to clients and project teams. Lead stakeholder consultations and liaise with regulatory authorities. Mentor and support junior ecologists and team members. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in ecological consulting or related fields. Strong knowledge of Australian flora and fauna, ecological processes, and environmental legislation. Proven experience in conducting field surveys and assessments.
