We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development/Sales Representative who'll play a key role in supporting our Company Director in growing our market reach across South-East Queensland. Based in Lawnton, QLD, you will be responsible for growing the business through new sales opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the earthmoving industry.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development/Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be ready to take the lead, be responsible for securing new clients, contracts and projects. Your strategic mindset, long-term vision, and focus on building genuine relationships will be essential in maintaining a positive client experience and expanding our customer base. Key Responsibilities: Prospect for new leads and generate sales through networking, cold-calls and other business development activities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing clients and prospective customers. Identify opportunities for new sales, account expansion and revenue growth. Prepare and submit tenders, EOIs and quotes. Negotiate with key clients/prospective customers. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.Utilise CRM software to manage leads, track sales progress and analyse market trends. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of earthmoving equipment.Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a sales management role within the civil construction, earthmoving and/or plant hire industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders, including an existing network. Strong negotiating skills/experience with large clients (e.g. construction, civil, plant hire). You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can effectively prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and are driven to achieve your set sales targets. Reliable and capable of working independently and autonomously, with a strong work ethic.
