TasPorts is a state-owned company responsible for managing eleven Tasmanian ports and Devonport Airport. We're a vertically integrated business delivering a wide range of marine and port services across Tasmania. Our purpose is clear: to proudly connect people, products and solutions for the benefit of all Tasmanians.
With 99% of the state's freight passing through our network, TasPorts plays a vital role in enabling trade, supporting industry, and servicing communities – all while upholding the highest safety and environmental standards.
The Opportunity – Expressions of Interest
We are currently building our talent pipeline for a number of upcoming and ongoing project delivery roles across Tasmania. These roles relate to a variety of capital infrastructure projects at different stages – from early design through to construction readiness. This includes major works such as the Macquarie Wharf Redevelopment in Hobart (currently in procurement), and the expanding QuayLink Program in Devonport, with Terminal 2 delivery scheduled to commence shortly.
Due to their scale, complexity, and critical importance to Tasmania's supply chain, these are some of the most exciting and career-defining infrastructure projects underway in the state. They offer a rare opportunity to be part of shaping Tasmania's future port infrastructure from the ground up.
We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals with experience in:
Project Management Project Supervision Engineering (Civil, Structural, Marine or related fields) Cost Control & Scheduling Health & Safety Advisory Roles will be based in Hobart, Launceston, Burnie or Devonport, with some flexibility depending on project location and stage.
