The Café and Barista Supervisor at Queensland Museum Tropics will:
* Lead the Café team in the delivery of exceptional customer service of a range of quality coffee, food, and beverage.
* Maintain the Café's financial and stock control systems including ordering, purchasing, float and register balancing, and input of data to stock control system.
* Plan, promote, organise, and supervise the operations of the Café, including food and beverage preparation and food presentation and display.
* Train and supervise staff in all café operations to meet the museum's food preparation, customer service, and barista standards.
* Take a lead role in yearly food safety audits by applying and following required processes.
* Work with the Experience and Commercial Manager to periodically review and make recommendations on products and prices to ensure visitors have a quality experience each and every time they visit the museum.
* Identify, analyse, and evaluate information including customer feedback and complaints in relation to the operation of the Café and contribute solutions to the Experience and Commercial Manager.
* Support functions and events if and when required.
