We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Logistics Manager to join our Site Leadership team based in Wacol, Brisbane. Reporting to the National Logistics Manager you will lead and drive the logistics team to achieve business performance targets, establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships and play an integral part in supporting our broader customer service objective of delivering in full, fresh and on-time (DIFFOT) through operational excellence of our logistics plan.At One Harvest Wacol, we work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Compressed order lead times, limited product shelf life and cold storage create a workplace where quick decision-making and data analysis are critical to the overall business success.Embed and drive our Zero Harm vision across the business unit and foster a continuous improvement culture. Embed and drive our Food safety vision within logistics.Provide effective leadership to the site Logistics team to improve performance and skill set to assist in meeting business goals.Deliver the agreed inbound and outbound transport schedule, within agreed budget, controlling inventory to agreed accuracies.Execute delivery of best practice with our systems, processes and plant improvement across the site.Delivery of a balanced scorecard of KPI improving freight utilization, distribution KPI and inventory and equipment control (including CHEP).Partner with Key stakeholders such as Operations and Produce supply to seek continuous improvement opportunities.Proactively plan ahead of time to manage volume increases during our peak periods with key stakeholders.Manage relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.About you5 years’ previous experience working in a management position within a logistics and supply chain environment preferably in FMCG short shelf life.Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Science or Engineering discipline will be advantageous.Demonstrated experience managing automated warehouse systems, including carton to pallet robotics through automated racking solutions.Experience with implementing new WMS systems leading the transition of legacy data management and process to new automated systems.Experience managing change.Strong IT systems knowledge including WMS and TMS.Experience implementing change and driving improvement through teams.Strong business acumen.What we are proud ofOne Harvest are industry leaders in the Fresh Food/ FMCG industry with more than 25 years of experience.
