Job Title: Guest Service Agent
Location: Mantra Charles Hotel, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia
The Mantra Charles is situated in the heart of Launceston's vibrant cultural and gastronomic hub. This hotel offers a range of accommodation options, including hotel rooms, studios, and one-bedroom apartments, as well as meeting and event spaces and The Charles Restaurant, which serves the finest Tasmanian cuisine.
Purpose: As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and setting the tone for their entire stay.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Roll out exceptional hospitality to every guest from check-in to check-out, making them feel like a VIP.
* Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless collaboration.
* Overcome challenges alongside guests, transforming dilemmas into success stories.
* Promote hotel amenities and services by having a deep understanding of products and offerings.
* Share local knowledge with guests, recommending neighbourhood hotspots and must-visit gems.
* Display proficiency in accurately handling reservations and managing guest accounts.
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is highly valued.
* An innovative approach to exceeding customer service expectations.
* Collaborative skills, both within teams and independently.
* A proven ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure, supported by strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
