We have an opportunity for a passionate Warehouse Assistant to join our team in South Nowra. Key to your success in this role is your ability to work in a small but strong team with goal committed colleagues and be prepared to pitch in where needed.
The role will see you managing tea and teaware stock and inventory, working on the warehouse floor, handling equipment, receiving orders and creating manifests, dispatching material, and using available computer systems and other equipment to facilitate these daily tasks. The standard hours of the role are Min 20 hours per week. Must be available for the following time frames: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Ideal Candidate:
• Before applying, please make sure you are available the required days, as this has limited flexibility.
• Enthusiastic to work and is self-motivated.
• Able to physically move big deliveries, consisting of cases of milks and packaged goods.
• Quick learner, organised, and willing to take direction.
• Enjoys tea and is open to learn more about it.
• Comfortable conversing with both new and existing clientele.
• Attention to detail, clean and organised nature.
Qualifications & experience:
• Enthusiasm and a great attitude are 95% of the job.
• Must have a full drivers license; experience driving manual is beneficial.
• Shopify experience is beneficial, or willingness to learn.
• Xero experience is beneficial, or willingness to learn.
• Must have a computer.
• Must have a can-do attitude, with the ability to work autonomously.
• Confidence to ‘up-sell’ is beneficial, or willingness to learn.
Tasks & responsibilities:
• Deliveries around the local area. Must be available Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
• Packing and blending tea, chocolate, chai and matcha products.
• Using Shopify & Xero to invoice customers, and pack wholesale & retail orders.
• Customer facing, in person, via email and over the phone.
• Managing a CRM document, collecting new data and following new leads.
• Tea and lifestyle social media, Instagram and Facebook experience are beneficial.
• Being involved in occasional tea events, like tastings, functions & pop ups.
• General cleaning & organisation around the warehouse and Tea Journeys Caddy.
