MARS Recruitment are partnering with an EV charging infrastructure company, who are looking for a Director of Sales to join their team. The location preference is Melbourne, but we are open to speaking to candidates across Australia.In this role, you will guide and provide strategic direction to the Sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving performance excellence. Your responsibilities will include establishing standard processes, practices, and performance metrics, while promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will lead the team in crafting and executing strategies to strengthen client engagement, identify growth opportunities, and meet revenue goals.As a key member of the Business Development team, the Director of Sales is instrumental in driving the organization's growth and overall success.Responsibilities: Participate in setting annual sales targets for the Account Management Team and individual team members, including commissions.Develop accurate revenue forecasts to inform financial planning and resource allocation, providing insights for strategic decision-making.Report regularly to leadership on project pipeline, sales performance, and key KPIs.Track each salesperson's performance against KPIs and targets, offering guidance and support to drive improvement when needed.Ensure the Sales Team operates effectively, achieving metrics related to deals closed, average deal size, and sales cycle duration.Implement processes to monitor and enhance customer satisfaction and feedback regarding the sales process and support.Conduct regular performance reviews, providing actionable feedback and creating development plans to support skill growth and career progression.Establish relevant training programs, monitor participation, and track outcomes to enhance the team's skills and sales expertiseCollaborates with sales, marketing, infrastructure services and product teams to foster cross-functional teamwork, delivering integrated solutions that meet client needs and drive revenue growth.Conduct regular performance reviews with team members, providing specific, actionable feedback and developing individual development plans to support skill development and career growth.Qualifications: Industry experience in EV charging projectsProven experience managing and leading a sales teamInterested candidates are invited to apply directly to the role with your resume outlining relevant experience and qualifications.
