Our client is an Australian owned business that specialise in providing engineered products/solutions to the mining, mineral, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and various other industries. They pride themselves on their quality product and providing excellent support and technical advice.
Their business has gone from strength to strength and they are now looking to appoint an experienced Technical Sales Representative to manage an established territory and with a main focus on developing new business relationships and increasing sales.
Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
*Manage and coordinate all sales, technical queries, business development, administration of key accounts and new clients within the allocated territory
*Pro-actively promote the companys product range to new and existing clients
*Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all key stake-holders
*On a daily basis, conduct client site visits to secure new orders
*Liaise with customers and assist with general enquiries on the company&rsquos product range, offering technical advice and product information
*Up-selling of additional products on customers initial order and also cross-selling other products and services within the business
*Pro-actively advise existing and potential customers of sales promotions, product improvements and new product launches
*To increase sales through various direct and in-direct methods whilst at all times maintaining profit contributions
*Pro-actively negotiate long term contracts for various products and services, through regular client meetings and service reviews
*Develop marketing and sales strategies to target potential clients
*Provide statistical, development and sales reports to senior management
*Maintaining and developing the customer database, ensuring the accuracy of all information that is entered
*General administrative duties and working to office procedures
To be considered for this position, you will require:
*Ideally you will have gained previous experience in a Technical Sales role
*Proven business development skills
*Excellent account management and customer service skills
*Ideally have Trade background experience or a strong technical aptitude
*Full WA drivers licence
*Excellent PC and Data Entry skills, good keyboard speed with a high attention to detail
*Team player
*Highly motivated and ambitious
*Able to use own initiative, pro-active and forward thinking
*Excellent communication skills
