About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Shift Operator to join our Manufacturing team in a permanent full-time position .
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and control all aspects of plant operations under the direction of the Shift Supervisor.
2. Ensure all work in the plant is performed complying with plant operating procedures, work instructions, and Shift Supervisor directions.
3. Participate in isolation of plant equipment as necessary for maintenance tasks.
4. Carry out laboratory analysis of manufactured product and complete plant log sheets and records.
5. Monitor quality of production through regular visual inspections and ensure packaging and storage of product is completed in a procedurally correct manner.
6. Monitor plant equipment and take action to prevent and minimize equipment failure.
7. Gain comprehensive knowledge of all facets of plant operations.
8. Undertake any other tasks assigned by management/Supervisors within applicable skill, knowledge, and abilities.
About You
We’re looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who:
1. Has experience or exposure to operations in the chemical processing industry.
2. Complies with and supports safe work practices throughout Coogee Chemicals.
3. Actively participates in the continuous improvement of safety within the manufacturing operations.
4. Holds a current High Risk Work License (forklift).
5. Has experience with Microsoft Office and associated programs.
6. Prioritizes safety with the utmost importance and ensures full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
