An exciting opportunity exists for a self-motivated and experienced Transport Allocator to join our Team.Your key responsibilities would include but not be limited to:5 Day working week with rotational shifts over weekends.Monthly rotation across three 9.5 hour shifts.
Starting times are 12.00am (midnight), 7.30am, and 3.30pm.Planning and implementing time slotted local pick ups and deliveries to our various customers.Liaising with our customers, interstate depots, and other team members to address issues.Communicate effectively with depot staff to create a safe and healthy working environment.Timely and effective communication both internally and externally.Actively participate in safety initiatives and monthly toolbox talks with staff.This is a hands-on role.Qualifications:Must have a 'can do' positive attitude.Able to work autonomously and in a group setting.Must have demonstrated experience in operations in the heavy vehicle industry.Able to supply up-to-date references.Ability to learn our software system.Able to work under pressure.Strong communication skills (written and oral).The Fine Print:Our busiest times coincide with major holiday periods, and you must be available during Christmas / Easter / holiday periods.
