About the role
Applicants are being sought for a Diesel Fitter (outboard or small engine mechanic considered) to join our small shore based workshop department. As a member of our team, you will utilise your trade qualification and play a vital role in our close-knit team.
About the role
Reporting to the Workshop Manager your responsibilities will include:
* The repair and maintenance of a large variety of mechanical equipment associated with our vessels, pontoons and land-based assets in Port Douglas.
About you:
* Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, Diesel Fitter (outboard or small engine mechanic considered)
* Current Driver’s license is desirable
* Previous marine experience working with Deutz, MTU, Detroit, Cummins, Scania and Caterpillar marine engines, although not essential would be well regarded
