About the Opportunity
These newly created roles will offer the opportunity to work on projects contributing Stockland's growth in the Apartments, Mixed-Use Build to Sell and Build to Rent sectors.
This role will be based at our Sydney Head office on Castlereagh Street.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive apartment-led, mixed-use opportunities, including detailed design and feasibility assessments.
* Ensure projects are scoped, designed, and delivered within agreed parameters, managing project consultant coordination, financial performance, contracts, marketing, inquiries, and commercial negotiations.
* Prepare and maintain financial models for current and prospective projects.
* Monitor markets, cultivate relationships to source and analyse development site opportunities, and manage purchase negotiations, due diligence, and internal approvals.
* Support ongoing analysis of the existing pipeline to secure approvals and bring projects to market.
* Foster a culture of cross-divisional collaboration to maximise overall profitability by leveraging Stockland's mixed-use capabilities.
* Ensure plans for stakeholders, community development, and the environment are in place and executed.
* Monitor market and competitor activity, implementing product changes with the project team to maintain competitiveness.
* Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to secure support for future project visions, including capital partnerships.
About You
We are seeking experienced development leaders with a track record working on Apartments (BTR or BTS) or Mixed Use projects.
In addition, you will have the following qualifications, skills and attributes.
* Deep understanding and experience across the full development cycle.
* Commercial acumen, including site assessment, feasibility analysis and forecasting.
* Advanced ability to build relationships with variety of internal and external stakeholders.
* You are a leader and enjoy working collaboratively and mentoring others.
* Tertiary qualification in relevant field.
