Golden opportunity for an experienced Care Manager or Registered Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Manager at this small bedded regional in one of Australia’s most famous regional towns.
As the Clinical Manager you will be responsible for Clinical oversight of the home along with ensuring that residents are provided with high quality care that aligns with the aged care standards and regulations.
This is a beautiful little home, and we are ideally looking for someone who can nurture and support our team along with our lovely residents and their families.

Key responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee Clinical Care within the service, ensuring to maintain compliance with relevant regulation and legislation.
* Coordinate liaison between the residents, their families, unit staff and other health care providers to ensure comprehensive input into resident assessments and care
* Liaise with medical practitioners, allied health, and other health professionals to ensure positive outcomes for our residents.
* Oversee the training and development programs for RNs, ENs, and Care Workers. Monitor staff competency levels and identify training needs to ensure continuous improvements.
* Monitor and identify AN-ACC reviews, including ensuring that documentation is proficient, and consumer care funding is maximised.
* Incident management- Effectively manage incidents, and ensure impact is minimised with appropriate actions taken to make improvements where needed.
Essential:
* AHPRA Registered Nurse
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse working within the aged care sector
* Strong Clinical skills and an extensive knowledge of the aged care standards and regulations
* An understanding of the AN-ACC process, assessments, and reviews
* A background in the training and development of staff
* Great communications skills and an ability to understand and appreciate cultural diversity
* An empathetic approach to patient care
