Due to an internal promotion, CJD’s Launceston Branch are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team!
This is an opportunity for someone considering a move away from the Workshop Service floor into a less physically demanding role, OR someone who has experience working within the automotive industry in an administrative role.
Reporting to the State Service Manager, this role provides you with the opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge within a professional and busy service department.
Responsibilities include:
* Processing of workshop labour/costs into system
* Control customer bookings and processing service invoices
* Invoicing of service and maintenance contracts and daily work
* Assist with the managing and ordering of parts for service jobs
* Ensure all documents and records are completed and processed in a timely manner
* Adherence to all HSE procedures
* Ability to work overtime as required
Qualifications, Qualities and Experience:
* Previous experience as a service advisor within the automotive industry or within an automotive service team
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Computer literate with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
* Attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks at one time
* Ability to work well in a team and busy environment
* Ability to maintain a professional appearance
