About the Role As the Community Engagement Lead, you'll play a vital role in connecting LifeFlight with the community to drive meaningful support and fundraising initiatives throughout the Sunshine Coast and South Burnett Region. You'll develop and execute regional engagement plans, deliver impactful events and presentations, and build strong relationships with individuals, businesses, and community organisations. Your leadership will extend to managing major events, from securing sponsors to coordinating logistics, ensuring every activity aligns with our mission. You'll also oversee and empower our volunteer network, maximizing their contributions to amplify our efforts. With a focus on efficient administration, you'll maintain accurate supporter records, manage schedules, and provide insightful reporting to ensure the success of our community engagement and fundraising programs. About You Are you a dynamic and motivated professional with a passion for community engagement and a proven track record of delivering impactful events and initiatives? To be successful in this role, you will have: At least two (2) years of demonstrated success in coordinating and implementing fundraising events, promotional launches, or marketing activities in a community setting. Confidence in public speaking and networking, coupled with high-level written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines and targets. The physical capability to help set up for events and/or activities (light lifting) and flexibility to travel and work evenings or weekends as required. A good understanding of the regional area. Hold a current QLD driver's license. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a broader team. Desirable skills and qualifications include: Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline. Experience in managing volunteers.
