Initially focused on the prime lamb market, the cooperative has expanded its operations to include regular cattle trading. The Co-op has established markets; however, it would be looking for you to expand on these and provide new options for marketing its stock. Essential qualities for the position include strong communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills, as well as a genuine passion for market analysis and the ability to observe and predict emerging trends. An integral part of the role involves regular interaction with property owners, contractors, transporters, and market representatives, requiring a hands-on approach and frequent travel between markets and properties, providing you with the opportunity to explore the local area and develop your network.The successful candidate will benefit from the support of a dedicated and modern board of directors, each of whom is an active member of their respective communities and plays a vital role in promoting the cooperative and its producers.
